LEOPARD 4WD Competition,Hydraulic Brakes Clear Bodyshell. Aggressive, speedy, successful - already during the development phase. A model, not only designed on the computer but also on the racecourse. A low balance point, a width of 485mm as well as the long wheelbase of 530mm provide the ideal conditions for fast lap times. The Leopard 4 Competition is a full-blooded competition buggy especially designed for the use at competitions. This model is the result of 12 month development work of the FG Team. Team driver Patrik Hofer reached a brilliant second place with the prototype model in the German 4WD Off-Road Cup 1:6, only small defects avoided the victory. With carbon fibre rods, stiffened aluminium chassis, 4-wheel drive, 2 differential gears, FG ball drive, cardan joint at the front axle, supporting chassis parts made of high-strength aluminium, completely ball-beared, solid large-volume oil-pressure shock absorbers with tender spring at the rear axle, fuel tank with snap closure, hydraulic disk brake at front and rear axle, FG competition tires, visually attractive polycarbonate bodyshell and further top-quality parts for the use at competitions. For the final assembly of the model you need further: radio control system (transmitter, receiver), 2 large servos for steering (approx. 20-30 kg), 1 servo for gas/ rear brake, 1 servo for the front brake (approx. 15 kg), batteries and charger. We deliver the Leopard 4 as kit including mounting instruction.
