Monster PICO Kill Switch

Modified Pico Switch Kill Switch or Prewired Kill Switch. (Note, Outlaw RC Kill switches are manufactured by a Professional Electronics Technician, beware of backyard hack jobs sold elsewhere that may fail to operate causing extensive damage or injury to persons) The modified Pico Switch Killswitch is a neat little device that when fitted to a spark ignition RC car will kill the engine in the event of: Loss of Transmitter signal or interference Receiver is switched off or Receiver losses power supply (eg. battery goes flat or becomes disconnected) The 3rd Channel switch on the transmitter is operated Installation of the switch is simple and straightforward. The servo plug on the Pico Switch is plugged into a free channel in the receiver. Note that in most cases this means a 3 channel radio is required. If you are installing a basic Pico Switch (non prewired version) you will need to run two wires from the terminal block on the Pico Switch to the engine kill switch. These 2 wires need to be spliced into the existing wires running from the engine kill switch to the coil. The Prewired Pico Switch Kill switch does not require any wire splicing or soldering, simply unplug and remove the wires running between the engine kill switch and coil and replace with the supplied wiring loom. The gray wire then runs to the radio box via whatever route you prefer, eg. Under the fuel tank and up through a hole in the bottom of the radio box or along the roll cage and into the radio box through a hole in the top or side. The grey wire attaches to the Pico Switch via the terminal block and polarity does not matter.
